Isa Nahomi (b. 1997) is a latinx multidisciplinary artist and writer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Through their art practice, they observe and keep record of scenes they witness, passing scenes through a theatrical visual lens that creates an anxiously visceral visual language. Their process is rooted in symbolism, carving into what they see until meaning appears simultaneously discovered and imbued: stars within petals, wounds in dried pistils, haloes of protection surrounding blossoms.
